Overview

Listening Bar is designed with your privacy in mind. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Data Collection

Listening Bar does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

• No user accounts or registration required
• No analytics or tracking
• No cookies or identifiers

Network

Listening Bar connects to the internet only to play the stream that you select. It connects directly to the server of that stream. As with any audio player, that server receives your IP address. Some streams use HTTP, which is not encrypted.

Local Storage

Your list of streams is stored only on your Mac, in the sandbox container of the app. It is never uploaded to any server.

Third-Party Services

Listening Bar does not integrate with any third-party services or APIs. The streams in the app, including the default streams of Worldwide FM, NTS and KCRW, belong to their radio stations.
